The President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa has been confirmed to be COVID-19 positive after attending an event in his country on Sunday.
A statement by the South African presidency said Ramaphosa started feeling unwell after attending a memorial service for a former Deputy President of the country, FW de Klerk, in Cape Town.
The President though showing mild symptoms, is however in good spirits and is been monitored by his doctors, the statement added.
He has since gone into isolation but people who have had contact with him in recent days have been told to watch out for…
