The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has presented a brand new car to the winner of the Best Teacher in Private Secondary School category in Nigeria, Oluwasanjo Ogunleye.
Abiodun equally acceded to the request of Ogunleye to transfer his service as a technical and vocational education expert from the private education sector to the public service.
Abiodun, who made the presentation of the car gift to the teacher at his office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Friday, said he had no doubt in the ability of Ogunleye to bring his wealth of experience into the public service.
He said, “Mr Ogunleye has graciously offered himself for public service and I think that is an offer we should not take lightly. The offer should be immediately accepted, particularly because of the posture of this government as it relates to technical and vocational education training.
