The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has deployed 2000 of its personnel to some strategic locations in the state, to ensure crime-free Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The Oyo State Commandant of the NSCDC, Adaralewa Micheal Akintayo, made this known, on Monday, at the Command Headquarters, old Nitel Building, Agodi, Ibadan, while addressing officers of the Armed Squad, Counter Terrorist Unit, Female Squad, Disaster Management, Agro Rangers and Under-Cover deployed to motor parks, recreational centres, worship centres and high ways to ensure water-tight security in Oyo State before, during and after the Christmas and New year celebrations.
In a statement signed by the Oyo NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Oluwole Olusegun, Commandant Adaralewa charged the officers and men to be disciplined, patriotic and civil in dealing with the public, as every Nigerian deserves respect, devoid…
