U.S. President Joe Biden said he got a German Shepherd puppy named Commander.
“Welcome to the White House, Commander,” Biden wrote on Twitter.
The president accompanied the post with a photo of the puppy and a video of him playing ball with Commander. “Meet the new member of the Biden family,” the president signed the publication with the video.
The president and first lady said in June that one of the president’s pets, a German Shepherd dog named Champ, had died at the White House after being a pet of the Bidens for 13 years.
