Followers have something to say about every little thing Chrissy Teigen does, and yet that doesn’t stop her from posting the details of her life. Even when they’re ripe for backlash.
The latest drama happened in response to Teigen sharing details of her eyebrow transplant surgery. The former model posted a short clip to Instagram Wednesday with the caption, “welcome, new brow hairs!!!!” She was showing off her newly bushy brows that came from cosmetic surgeons transferring hair from the back of her head and implanting it onto her face.
But her newest update came with the threat of more negativity, which is what happened the first time Teigen spoke about the cosmetic procedure.
That was back in November. At the time, the 36-year-old shared before-and-after images of her defined brows while warning teenagers not to overpluck their brows like she did. Teigen also tagged her doctors Dr. Jason Diamond and Dr. Jason Champagne, who she also visited for fat removal in her cheeks. The social media influencer also got liposuction in her armpits in the past.
The Daily Mail published a response piece to Teigen’s November brow transplant announcement where they highlighted some of the negative comments the cookbook author received on Twitter.
“Who give a dam! All these people suffering, and trying to pay they bills. They have real problems. I don’t have eyebrows. I have thyroid disease. And I don’t care. That a real problem. Chrissy Teigen needs to disappear. For Real [sic],” one person tweeted.
“You’re so out of touch with reality it’s literally disgusting,” another follower agreed. “The things I see you post are non relevant. I always tell my 11 yr old not to look up to people like you or your type. You’re seriously a cancer. BTW, this is totally in response to the eyebrows post.”
Teigen reacted to the Mail article and her critics by posting another Instagram story. “WHY are people so f***ing riled up over any little thing I do?” she wrote in her story. “You’re gonna give yourselves a heart attack.”
