African Bar Association raises concerns over ‘deceptively drafted’ LGBT provisions in Samoa agreement

The African Bar Association has criticized the Samoa Agreement signed by Nigeria, claiming it contains deceptive LGBT provisions. The association identified twelve specific provisions that promote the LGBT agenda.

Nigerian authorities denied these provisions, stating that LGBT references were absent from the agreement. The president of the Nigeria Bar Association, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, stated that there is no provision in the SAMOA agreement that requires Nigeria to accept or recognize LGBTQ rights.
