A British tourist has been hailed as a hero after subduing a knifeman who attacked five people in central Amsterdam. The assailant stabbed two American tourists, a Polish man, a Belgian woman, and a Dutch woman near Dam Square before being overpowered by the bystander, who held him until police arrived.
