Archie Harvey was one of seven students from a Swiss boarding school enjoying a ski tour when a devastating 50 feet avalanche struck on the Gstelliwang slope on the Wellhorn Mountain near Meiringen on Tuesday, March 21.
Archie is the son of property developer Philip Harvey and designer Sarah Metcalfe, who are currently believed to be abroad as they attempt to come to terms with their tragic loss.
A family friend said: ‘Phillip and Sarah are devastated, Archie’s death has crushed them. It’s the worst thing that can happen to any parent. After Archie’s funeral his parents went overseas.
