Sextortion: EFCC moves to extradite Nigerians wanted in US over teen's death

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has initiated an extradition proceedings at the Federal High Court, Abuja against three young Nigerians.

EFCC Head of Media, Wilson Uwujaren confirmed the lawsuit in a statement on Monday.

The defendants, Samuel Ogoshi, 22, his brother Samson Ogoshi, 20, and Ezekiel Ejehem Robert, 19, face a four-count indictment.

They were indicted in a United States Federal Court on December 1, 2022 on charges of exploitation of minors and production of child pornography resulting in death.

The trio are also accused of conspiracy to distribute child pornography and conspiracy to commit stalking through the internet.

Prosecutors say they sexually extorted numerous young men and teenage boys in the Western District of Michigan and across America.
