The Nigeria Police Force has announced significant progress in its recent operations, with the arrest of 92 armed robbery suspects and 153 kidnap suspects, along with the rescue of 35 kidnap victims over the past two weeks. Additionally, the force has recovered seven stolen vehicles, apprehended nine suspected cultists, and seized 44 arms and 477 ammunition of various calibers across the country.
Speaking at a press briefing held at the Intelligence Response Team Headquarters in Abuja, the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, highlighted the achievements of the various police formations. Adejobi expressed confidence in the collaborative efforts of the NPF, anticipating a safer and more peaceful Nigeria in the near future.
He emphasized the force’s commitment to combating crime and managing civil challenges effectively, particularly in the realm of rescuing kidnap victims and maintaining law and order.
