Bandits have killed a businessman and abducted his wife and neighbour in Buluku quarters, Gusau, capital of Zamfara state.
Buluku is a community located behind the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) within the state capital.
A resident, who preferred anonymity, said the bandits gained access into the house of the businessman and dealer of assorted drinks, to abduct some people.l
“The bandits attempted to abduct the man but when he resisted they killed him and went with his wife and his neighbour,” the source said.The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara state Command, CP Shehu Muhammad Dalijan, confirmed killing of the businessman and abduction of two persons.
Daily Trust had earlier reported how bandits abducted scores of worshippers at a community mosque where Muslim faithful observing the famous congregational prayer, Tahajjud.Tahajjud is special prayer being observed by Muslims in the middle of night in every last 10 days of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
