The FCT Police Command has apprehended six suspects known as “one chance” operators who would rob passengers in their vehicles or tricycles and then force them out. The police described the suspects’ modus operandi as “atrocious”, and reported that the victims had their valuables stolen, including mobile phones, money, and gadgets.
The police recovered items such as cutlasses, knives, and a phone believed to be from a victim. The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring public safety and security.
