The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Oyo State has sanctioned a Christ Apostolic Church branch after a violent attack on a Muslim family in Iseyin.
The pastor involved in the attack has been ordered to relocate his church and has been sanctioned by CAN.
The attack, which occurred on Eid day, was condemned by the Muslim Rights Council (MURIC), CAN, and other religious groups.
The Muslim family alleged that the pastor hired soldiers to attack them for slaughtering a ram near the church, and a misunderstanding over noise pollution.
