A bus crash in northern Nigeria’s Kaduna state has killed dozens of Muslim worshippers, including 71 people, who were celebrating Eid-el-Maulud in Saminaka.
The incident occurred near Lere, where fatal road collisions are common in Nigeria. The Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency reported 36 deaths, with up to 40 deaths and 31 more being treated in the hospital.
