Despite confessing to killing Salome Adaidu, gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi pleads not guilty

Timileyin Ajayi, who confessed to killing Salome Adaidu, has pleaded not guilty to the murder of the 24-year-old.

Ajayi appeared before Justice Simon Aboki on Monday, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge.

He is being arraigned at the High Court of Justice, Lafia, the capital of Nassarawa, for culpable homicide punishable by death according to Section 221 of the Penal Code of Northern Nigeria.
