John Stones claims the combination of Jack Grealish and Phil Foden will have Premier League defences running scared this season.
Grealish says he is relishing playing with his England team-mate Foden after sealing his British record £100million move to Manchester City from Aston Villa.
Stones has trained with the pair for England and cannot wait to see the duo team up for Pep Guardiola’s side.
“I can only describe it as if they were playing on the street, no fear, playing with happiness,” said the England centre-half. “They love the game.
“They make it look easy and I wish I could do some of the stuff that they do!
“If they can link up, like they do in training from what I have seen with England, then I think it is a scary thought to see what they can do.”
Stones, fresh from signing a new five-year deal at City worth £250,000-a-week, claims Grealish has already settled into the City dressing room because he is a big personality.
