Manchester United will have Fred available to play a part against Chelsea on Sunday amid injury concerns over the Brazilian.
The United squad convened at Manchester Airport on Saturday afternoon to fly to London before their game against the table-topping Blues on Sunday (4.30pm kick off).
Captain Harry Maguire is suspended for the visit to Stamford Bridge, while United remain without long-term injury absentees Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane.
Eric Bailly is likely to come into the defence alongside Victor Lindelof, while caretaker boss Michael Carrick has decisions to make over his midfield, given Fred suffered a twisted ankle against Villarreal in midweek.
Luke Shaw, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani all missed that encounter with injuries, and are all doubtful for the Chelsea game. They weren’t spotted at the airport by MEN photographers but part of the United squad arrived at an entrance that wasn’t in their view.
As such, 14 members of the travelling squad can be confirmed at this stage, with 19 or 20 expected to travel in all. That includes the ineligible Maguire, who has gone with the squad in a non-playing role.
