Joel Matip replaces Ibrahima Konate as Jurgen Klopp makes one Liverpool change for the trip to Everton.
Konate filled in for Saturday’s 4-0 win over Southampton but Matip is recalled alongside Virgil van Dijk, who makes his first appearance at Goodison Park since he suffered a season-ending injury at this venue in October 2020.
Klopp keeps the same midfield as the comfortable win over the Saints as Thiago Alcantara is encouraged to build on an excellent spell since the end of the international break alongside captain Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.
Diogo Jota is named down the middle up top with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah on the left and right, respectively as Liverpool aim to secure their first win at Goodison Park for five years.
