Antonio Conte has stuck with his last starting XI as Tottenham Hotspur welcome Brentford on Thursday evening in the Premier League.
The Spurs head coach had already chosen his 11 starting Tottenham players for the Burnley match that never was and that team was announced just 14 minutes before the game was postponed due to heavy snow.
Conte‘s team will face as much of a battle against Thomas Frank’s side, who have shown to be tough opposition for the ‘bigger’ sides in the Premier League so far this season, as they would have done at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.
The one bonus of Sunday’s postponement is that the Spurs boss has been able to work with his team on the training pitches at Hotspur Way and continue to get his philosophy across.
The Italian has named Davinson Sanchez again on the right of the back three, keeping his place despite a poor display in the embarrassing Europa Conference League defeat to NS Mura.
In midfield, the Italian has decided against bringing in a more attacking midfielder like Tanguy Ndombele with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp chosen again.
That means his team to face Brentford would be:
Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Lucas, Kane, Son.
Subs: Gollini, Tanganga, Doherty, Sessegnon, Winks, Dele, Ndombele, Bergwijn, Gil.
