Man Utd squad confirmed vs Crystal Palace amid Cristiano Ronaldo injury concern

Ralf Rangnick takes to the Manchester United managerial hot seat on Sunday as his side face Crystal Palace in a crunch clash at Old Trafford. All eyes will be on his first team selection as interim boss with concerns being reported on an injury Cristiano Ronaldo picked up during the win over Arsenal.

The Portugal international reportedly picked up a knee injury during his goal celebration in the midweek match, but the Manchester Evening News suggest that Ronaldo will be in contention to face Crystal Palace.

Nemanja Matic and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are the two players back after suffering recent short-term injuries at Old Trafford.

Matic picked up a hamstring injury, whilst Wan-Bissaka picked up a hand injury after Calum Hudson-Odoi stood on him in the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

United’s recent form under Michael Carrick will likely give the club confidence to attain a win against a side they haven’t beaten at home since 2017.
