Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta and left-back Marcos Alonso both want to leave in January, according to reports. Azpilicueta has struggled for game time of late following the emergence of Reece James at right wing-back. James is Chelsea’s leading goalscorer in the Premier League this season and has started 10 matches so far.
Azpilicueta has started nearly as many games as James, including the 3-2 win over Leeds last weekend.
The Spaniard can also play on the right of Thomas Tuchel‘s back three.
Meanwhile, Alonso has started the last four league matches following the knee injury suffered by Ben Chilwell.
But it appears both Azpilicueta and Alonso are still not happy with their game time under Tuchel.
