Ralf Rangnick has a full Manchester United squad to pick from after they were forced into a two-week hiatus following a Covid outbreak.
United’s last two games, against Brentford and Brighton, were postponed after Covid decimated Rangnick’s squad, leaving him with just nine fit outfield players.
But interim boss Rangnick hopes to have a full squad to choose from for Monday’s trip to Newcastle, United’s first of three games in eight days, with injured Paul Pogba the only absentee.
“As you know, we had last week, the last training session on Thursday,”sadi Rangnick.
“From there we had eight fewer players, three goalkeepers and then we closed the training ground for four days in order to break the chain.
“Today was the third day of training this week. We trained on Tuesday, Wednesday and today and we have 25 outfield players, apart from Paul Pogba, he’s the only one missing out.
“Everyone else is on board and the development of the last week is extremely positive.
“As far as I could see today in training, they’re all in good shape, they did their homework, had their schedule to train at home and they stick to that schedule and that programme.
“I can say most of them, if not all of them, might be available, but I have to make some difficult decisions about..
