Champions League: Manchester City and Real Madrid battle for right to face Inter

FOOTBALL ITALIA

Carlo Ancelotti has already set another all-time record with his 191st Champions League match, as Real Madrid face Manchester City for the right to play Inter in the Final.

It kicks off at the Etihad at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

As the first leg ended 1-1, so without the away goals rule, it is winner takes all in Manchester.

The team that comes out on top will face Simone Inzaghi’s Inter in Istanbul for the Final on June 10.

Pep Guardiola picks the same starting XI as the first leg, while Ancelotti drops ex-Roma defender Antonio Rudiger to the bench, bringing in Eder Militao.

Simply participating in this match allows Ancelotti to break another record, as no coach has managed 191 games in the competition before.

He is already the most successful manager in the history of the tournament with four editions – two for Milan, two for Real Madrid – as well as being the only tactician to win all five major European League titles.

Manchester City: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Dias, Akanji, Rodrigo, Gundogan (C), De Bruyne, Bernardo, Grealish, Haaland

Real Madrid: Courtois; Carvajal, Eder Militao, Alaba, Camavinga; Valverde, Kroos, Modric; Rodrygo, Benzema, Vinicius Jr
