Pep Guardiola made nine changes to his Man City team as their Premier League title celebrations started.
They wrapped up the title without needing to play when Arsenal lost to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
It is part one of the treble all sorted for Guardiola and he celebrated by ringing in the changes.
Kyle Walker and Manuel Akanji were the only two players who kept their place from the team who destroyed Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The likes of Ederson, Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish, Kevin De Bruyne and John Stones were all relegated to the bench, with the Champions League and FA Cup finals still to come.
Kalvin Phillips was also making his first Premier League start for City.
City arrived at the Etihad to a heroes welcome as the fans were in full party mode.
They will be presented with the Premier League trophy after the match, for a fifth time in the last six seasons, and Chelsea will also give them a guard of honour.
