The Brazilian put in an anonymous performance against Tottenham in the 2-0 defeat. He wasn’t at his best defensively, losing position and duels way too often, and wasn’t helpful going forward.
The 31-year-old was actually pretty decent against Wolves on matchday one. However, with Casemiro’s age and inconsistency, there are question marks over who should play in the holding midfielder position for United long-term.
