‘Another waste of money’: Man United fans fume at Mason Mount injury news

VIA TRIBUNA:

Mason Mount picked up an injury during the 2–0 defeat against Tottenham at the weekend, it has been confirmed.

It remains to be seen whether the midfielder will recover in time to face Arsenal on September 3 after the international break.

And Manchester United supporters are angry with the fact that yet another new signing has picked up injury, rendering him unavailable for selection.

48 hours (via RedCafe): “We excel at signing injury-prone players.”

DJ_21: “Another waste of money. Tends to pick up a lot of injuries. I don’t get why we didn’t sign a proper no.8. A physical one! We’d play so much better.”

hobbers: “This ‘small issue’ keeps him out for at least 3 weeks. A recurrence of his problem last season. Have we signed yet another crock?”

hobbers: “So he has a recurring pelvic injury which kept him out for about 12 games last season. Probably some chronic or recurring form of osteitis pubis.”

FerociousCorgis: “Welp, f***k. Now he will be out and can’t continue working on fitting in and finding his role under EtH.”

UnitedRepublic: “I never thought when playing Chelsea we have to watch out for Mount, then we go and buy Mount like we don’t know who he is and what he brings. What a waste of funds.”
