Al-Ittihad ‘prepared to go all out’ for Mohamed Salah as Liverpool issue response

Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad “are prepared to go all out” to try and land Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.

In a summer that has seen Neymar, Karim Benzema and Sadio Mane make the move over to Saudi Arabia, Salah has emerged as a prime target for the Saudi Pro League side.

Al-Ittihad have already done business with the Reds during the transfer window, having signed Fabinho from Jurgen Klopp’s side for a reported fee of £40m.

And now Salah looks set to be their next target. Sky Sports News report the Saudi Pro League side are willing to do whatever it takes to try and bring the Egyptian forward to Saudi Arabia.

But, with the Premier League having now started, Liverpool have zero intention of letting Salah go this summer. Sky Sports News also report Salah is not for sale and will not be allowed to leave Anfield under any circumstance.

Last summer, Salah inked a new deal with the Reds through till 2025. Earlier this month, Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas, insisted that his player is committed to Liverpool.

He said: “If we considered leaving LFC this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to LFC.”

Salah currently earns around £350,000-a-week and he is unlikely to agitate for a move even if Al-Ittihad make an offer. Liverpool cannot afford to lose the winger who scored 32 goals last season.
