Manchester United offer first-team midfielder to Ajax

Manchester United have reportedly offered Christian Eriksen to Ajax.

The Denmark international, who has just 12 months remaining on his contract, could leave Old Trafford before the summer transfer window closes.

Eriksen, 32, has been with United for two years and, although not at his peak, has still contributed creatively.

However, with Erik Ten Hag aiming to steer the Red Devils in a new direction this season, the veteran midfielder is likely to be surplus to requirements.

According to The Athletic, the 20-time league champions are making efforts to move on the former Tottenham playmaker.
