The Niteshift Guvnor, Ken Calebs Olumese, has put the edifice that used to house The Coliseum in the Opebi area of Ikeja up for lease.
According to a report by Yes International, Olumese sealed the lease deal weeks back with a showbiz entrepreneur, who has chosen to remain anonymous.
The Coliseum, until it was shut down in 2014, was unarguably Nigeria’s No. 1 celebrity hangout.
It opened in 1988 and was then known as The Niteshift.
It, however, moved to its permanent structure in 1999, under a new name – The Coliseum.
The Niteshift and The Coliseum cemented Guvnor Olumese’s 30-year reign as a showbiz impresario before his retirement.
