Popular Nigerian singer, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, also known as Bella Shmurda, has been urged by the Lagos State University to come back to the school and earn a degree.
The institution charged the singer to come back for his degree shortly after he took to his Twitter account to tell his fans that he is glad that he dropped out of school for music.
Shmurda further stated that he would have been struggling with carryovers and stranded with nothing in his pocket if he was still in the school.
The singer in a post on his account had written, “I now worth over half a billion streams (550millions streams to be precise). I for still Dey LASU dey wine and dine with carryovers and stranded with nothing in my pocket… forever glad I did my thing.”
The Lagos University in a response to the singer’s post wrote, “Happy birthday @fineboybella. Glad you have come this far pursuing your dream.
