Plus sized drag queen, 25, dies on stage during performance at gay bar

Tributes have poured in after a plus-size drag queen collapsed and died while performing on stage.

Valencia Prime, 25, was halfway through her ‘Prime Time’ show at the Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar when she suddenly dropped ill on September 12.

The star, who called herself “Philadelphia’s Plus Size Dancing Diva”, tragically passed away from heart disease, obesity and diabetes, according to medics.

Emergency services rushed to the US gay bar following reports that she had become “unresponsive” during the show she was hosting.

Paramedics took her to Jefferson Hospital where she was sadly pronounced dead.

Following the tragedy, a GoFundMe was launched which has already surpassed the goal of £7000 by reaching over £12,000 ,reports Daily Mail.

Tabu has since posted a tribute to the drag queen and said: “We mourn the loss of a very bright and rising star in the performance community and a person who was always full of life and positivity.
