Islamic singer resigns from Kwara governor’s aide position, criticizes receiving ‘free salaries’

Islamic cleric and singer Ibraheem Abdulhameed, known as Labaeka, has resigned as the Special Assistant, Artiste to Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. Labaeka expressed frustration with the role, noting a lack of clear duties and inability to perform responsibilities.

He stated that he cannot continue to receive salaries from the state while inactive. Labaeka’s resignation letter is circulating on social media.
