Controversial internet personality and cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, known widely as Bobrisky, has broken the news of his re-arrest by Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Bobrisky, who earlier announced his plans to leave Nigeria, posted on his Instagram story on Thursday night to reveal his recent arrest.
He was reportedly nabbed by EFCC officials while passing through Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos, on his way to London.
He appealed to his fans in a post, saying, “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.” Bobrisky’s run-ins with law enforcement are no stranger to the headlines.
