The Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Edo State, Mr. Tony Adun, popularly known as Tony Kabaka, has said that opposition in politics is aimed at putting the ruling party on its toes.
Adun stated this Monday night at the Government House in Benin, where he was invited by the State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, to receive gift items to celebrate the festivities with his family.
Recall that Kabaka and the State Government had been at logger heads over the location of his hotel.
The State Government had demolished the hotel on the ground that it is located on land acquired by the government. A Benin City High Court however recently ordered the State Government to rebuild the hotel.
Kabaka thanked Governor Obaseki for his kind gesture and forgiving spirit, adding that politics is not a do-or-die affair.
