Three regions in Nigeria are already processing their constitutions – Tony Nnadi

The Secretary-General of the Lower Niger Congress, Tony Nnadi, has said that three regions in Nigeria are already processing their constitutions and heading to referendum whether Nigeria wakes up or not. He made this known in an interview with IrokopostTV’s Rudolf Okonkwo. He said that the goal of the Lower Niger Congress is to make the post-Nigeria arrangement to be settled in an orderly way without leading to endless tribal war. Mr. Nnadi noted that even the British knew that sharia and feudalism could not mix with democracy and constitutionalism. “The Sharia states in the north have seceded from the union,” he added. “The union is at an end.”
