Holocaust Memorial Day 2021: ‘It’s sad when I sit there alone’

Holocaust Memorial Day, held on 27 January, honours the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, and the millions of other people killed under Nazi persecution.

The theme for Holocaust Memorial Day 2021 is “be the light in the darkness”, but with the pandemic preventing families from being together, the already difficult day will be even more challenging for many.
