Three veterinary doctors have been abducted by five heavily armed suspected kidnappers at their commercial poultry farms at Pampo community, Asa local government area of Kwara state.
The Kwara State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, who confirmed the incident, said that the state commissioner of Police, Mohammed Bagega, has mobilised officers and men of the command for rescue operation.
It was gathered that the suspected kidnappers, dressed in army uniform, shot into the air when they arrived in Hilux vehicle at one of the two farms where they operated.
TVC News gathered that the kidnappers are demanding for a total sum of N45 million for the three abducted persons.
