Ahead of the 2023 general election, Salihu Lukman, director-general of the Progressives Governors’ Forum (PGF), has expressed worry over the chances of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to retain power at the end of President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure.
Lukman said his fears were based on the realisation that the electoral victory of the APC in the 2015 and 2019 general elections was made possible by the presence of President Buhari in the party.
