Police put Catholic school on ‘lock down’ due to ‘man firing air rifle’: Head reveals officers raced to scene due to ‘suspicious activity in the vicinity’
A Roman Catholic secondary school in Lincoln was put on lockdown today for an hour amid reports of a man firing an air rifle.
Officers descended on St Peter and St Paul Catholic Voluntary Academy at 9.30am ‘due to suspicious activity outside of, but in the vicinity to, the school grounds’.
