Europe Covid: Indian variant could stop holidays for unvaccinated Britons

The EU’s travel plan

  • Anyone who has received their final dose of an EU-approved vaccine at least two weeks beforehand can travel, no matter their country of origin. The list of approved vaccines includes all of those being used in the UK and the US
  • Children who are excluded from vaccination should be able to travel with their vaccinated parents if they have a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before arrival
  • A ‘white list’ of low risk countries will also be expanded, allowing travel even without a vaccine  
  • A low risk country will be defined as one with an infection rate of less than 75…
