46 UniAbuja students expelled for ‘misconduct’

The University of Abuja (UniAbuja) has expelled at least 46 students over various misconducts.

Habib Yakoob, the institution’s head of public relations, announced the development in a statement on Sunday.

He said the sanction followed the affected students’ breach of their sworn matriculation oath.

Yakoob said this came as the varsity’s senate, on May 27, considered the report and recommendations of its disciplinary committee and subsequently approved the expulsion, rustication, retrial, and exoneration of the affected students.
