Sputnik V expected to get WHO authorization in ‘next couple of months’ – distributor of Russian vaccine to RT


Seeking approval from the WHO and the EU watchdog EMA is yet another opportunity for the anti-Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V to show the world that it is open and transparent, the head of the fund behind the Russian vaccine told RT.

The rolling review of Sputnik V by the EU health watchdog the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has been underway since March, while the World Health Organization (WHO) received the application for accelerated registration of the jab from the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) in late October 2020.
