The titular character Cruella De Vil will return in the near future.
Although the movie – starring Emma Stone and Dame Emma Thompson – has just been released, Disney executives are so happy with its commercial and critical reception, that they are starting to plan a follow-up, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Cruella director Craig Gillespie and screenwriter Tony McNamara are expected to return for the sequel to the film which stars Stone as “101 Dalmatians villainess” Cruella de Vil.
A Disney spokesperson said: “We are very pleased with Cruella’s box office success, in conjunction with its strong Disney+ Premier Access performance to date.
