Adamu Adamu, minister of education, says 76,855 applicants took the 2021 National Common Entrance Examinations (NCEE) for the 30,000 spaces available in the 110 unity schools across the country.
NAN reports that the minister broke the news while monitoring the conduct of the entrance exam in some centres at the federal capital territory (FCT) on Saturday.
Adamu, who was represented by Sonny Echono, the ministry’s permanent secretary, said the candidates would choose the college for their post-primary education in each of the geo-political zone.
