Usman Baba, inspector-general of police, has clarified the suspension of issuance of tinted-glass permits in the country.
The IGP on Monday ordered the suspension of the issuance of permits for tinted glasses and SPY number plates for vehicles across the country.
Baba said some individuals have been fraudulently acquiring permits for tinted glasses and SPY number plates.
But the IGP said the directive does not affect already issued permits.
