Victoria Acting Premier James Merlino says the government’s response to future COVID-19 outbreaks in the state will be determined by public vaccination levels and the construction of more purpose-built quarantine facilities.
Despite recording four new cases overnight, health authorities confirmed the state is still on track for an easing of restrictions at midnight on Thursday with the exception that masks will be required in all outdoor settings.
