Three new Covid-19 clusters detected in Sabah, says state minister | Malaysia

KOTA KINABALU, June 13 — Three more new Covid-19 clusters were detected in Sabah today, with two involving workplace transmission and one due to funeral activity.

State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said the three clusters involved the Eioz Selatan cluster in Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran and Penampang; Jalan Agaseh cluster in Lahad Datu; and Kampung Kebayau cluster in Kota Belud and Keningau.

He said the Eioz Selatan cluster was a workplace one involving 10 Covid-19 positive cases triggered from an index case infection of a 23-year-old male general worker who was confirmed positive on June 3.
