Kim Kardashian says reality show wouldn’t have been as successful without sex tape

Maybe the tape came in handy after all.

Kim Kardashian believes that the success of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” can be attributed to the scandal surrounding her 2007 sex tape with her then-boyfriend, Willie “Ray J” Norwood.

“Do you feel that the show would have had its massive initial success without the publicity that surrounded the sex tape?” Andy Cohen asked the Kardashian family point blank during the reunion taping on Thursday.

“Looking back, probably not,” Kardashian, 40, admitted.
