Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu, a 21-year-old 300 level student of Mass Communication in UNILAG has narrated what transpired between herself and Mr Michael Usifo Ataga, the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, in the Lekki area of the State.
The Police in Lagos had today, Thursday paraded Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu for alleged murder, and allowed her a conference with newsmen where she confessed to committing the crime.
According to her, she had stabbed the deceased who was supposed to turn 50 on the 18th of June on his neck twice and later on his stomach after he forcefully had sex with her. “I was tired and exhausted and wanted to sleep but Mr Michael won’t have any of that, he became very violent and tried choking me to death”, she recalled of the event which reportedly took place on the 15th of June, 2 days after they both lodged in Lekki.
Meanwhile, Ataga, who resides in Banana Island, was reported missing on Sunday, June 13, by his family and friends after he didn’t return to his home in Banana Island and he also didn’t turn up at his Victoria Island office. All efforts to reach him proved abortive and this caused distress to his wife and children, who live in Abuja. Unfortunately, his lifeless body was found on Friday morning,
June 18, his supposed birthday, in a flat in Lekki Phase 1 with multiple stab wounds.Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu had, on the other hand, lied to her parents that she was going for an ushering job, so she could spend with her Sugar Daddy, with whom she had been hooked up by friends four months earlier. While they were in the apartment they lodged, Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu told newsmen that she and the Super TV CEO were taking some substances called ‘loud and SK’ and had gotten high on them when an argument ensued between them as she refused to have sex with him. She said she stabbed him twice before she fled the apartment.
According to the Police, she fled the scene after the deed has been done and was traced to her home in Yaba. “She confessed to have stabbed the deceased with a kitchen knife after a struggle. She further confessed to have taken the knife away while leaving the scene and disposed same in a dust bin at her residence. It has also been revealed that the suspect equally stole the deceased iPhone”, Lagos Police boss said. Watch Chidinma speak below
