Taliban resistance forces recapture three districts north of Kabul
Afghan National Resistance Forces have recaptured three districts in Baghlan province, north of Kabul, witness, and the Afghan Minister of Defence said on Friday.
Sources close to Amrullah Saleh confirmed to The National that resistance forces recaptured Pul-e-Hisar, Deh-e Saleh and Banoo districts that make up the Andarab region in southern Baghlan province.

Safiullah Mahzoon, the police commander of Baghlan province under the Ghani government, confirmed the capture of three districts from the Taliban in an operation called Khodjosh Mardomi, meaning “spontaneous”.
“We recaptured three districts of the Andarab region in Baghlan earlier today. More than 50 Taliban members were killed or injured in the operation and we took their vehicles and tanks,” Mr Mahzoon told The National by phone.
“Our operation is led by Amrullah Saleh and Ahmad Masoud and supported by the people of Afghanistan, many Afghan government forces were also involved.”
